Each day in Japan, I picked up off the ground one or more items that had been discarded, such as an empty cigarette pack or a food wrapper. Or I picked up something more natural, like a sea shell or feather. These are displayed below, each day a separate art piece. On several, I added my own touch of sumi ink and on another, a handful of dirt
